I’m Fran Kemerling, owner and Decorator / RE Stager at Interiors with Panache. I help Realtors, Investors and home dwellers enrich their properties with classic design, timeless curation and elegant styling to bring that something extra. I am dedicated to serving people. Because of this dedication, I have created the Color Palette + system, the Panache Principle, and The Panache Assessment to help my clients achieve their goals of selling and / or dwelling their properties.
Where I found my inspiration…
Before Interiors with Panache was a even a dream, I found myself watching This Old House and Debbie Travis on PBS, this is pre-HGTV! I loved watching them with my husband and seeing them transform homes room by room. Norm talked about quality products and master craftsmanship. I was so intrigued by the whole process, I began taking Interior Design classes.
When we bought our first home we bought a 100-year-old home in the Midwest that had gone thru many strange updates. We loved this house, but it didn’t quite function for us in our modern life. We wanted a space that worked for the stage of life we were in, but also one that had a taste of its origins.
Since this project I have remodeled several of our own homes, several 100+ years old homes and a 90's suburban tract home and bringing them into the modern day living without losing the character that homes have. Fran can do that for you too. She has a love of color and a sense of history that she loves to bring into every project.
In 2021 my husband joined the business when we purchased our most recent venture. This project is a 1911 home in a small Midwest town that we are taking from 1911 to 2022!
Discovering my love of staging…
As HGTV was coming on the scene and I was a mom with young children. Wanting a career that offered flexibility in my schedule as I raised my girls, I began focusing on Staging to Sell. Thru the years I've worked for many homeowners, realtors, investors, and builders, and am often able to help them receive money over the asking price in record time.
Staging and Designing aren’t all that different.
We all want the cool life that we see on TV and in magazines.
