Some months are slow to get started. I always find myself at the end of month excited for the new one upcoming. I found myself sick for 3 weeks last month. Fighting a nasty cold that turned into a sinus infection that just wouldn’t quit no matter what I threw at it! I finally went to the doctor where I was prescribed an antibiotic. I am already feeling better. Sometimes I just don’t want to wave the white flag. Maybe you are like me, slow to accept help. But, when I finally do, I flourish!
A Coastal Condo
Alexia (my daughter) and her awesome husband, James found the perfect condo for their sweet family in a coastal town in Florida. With this cute condo they knew they wanted a fresh beginning with all new furniture. In Alexia’s discovery call we talked over the basics of what she was looking for; what space she wanted to decorate, her timeline, investment guideline. I was able to let her know what I could do for her. She had always loved Tiffany blue. However, she had tried to figure out her style for years. She bought furniture and changed her mind, over and over. During her consultations I suggested she take the Style Quiz on my website. She promptly took the quiz and it really helped clarify once and for all the style that made her heart happy. Modern Scandinavian. It was fresh, clean, and had a vintage feel. She earnestly booked a consultation. She was ready to get started. During the initial consultation via a video call (she’s in Florida, after all) I created a beautiful color palette that she could take shopping. This made is so much easier for her. Everything else fell into place.

I also wanted to you to know that I am always looking for ways to be better for you. I have joined RESA, which is the Real Estate Staging Association and become the President-Elect (like a vice-president) for our local Greater Chicago Chapter. RESA’s Mission is advancing professionalism and excellence in real estate staging by creating industry standards in order to maximize profit potential for consumers and industry professionals. I can get behind that!
I also became certified as a True Color Expert with Maria Killam at the end of the year. It was wonderful to find someone who thought the same as me about color. I have used the large painted boards for color consultations and they are a game changer. When you schedule an in-person Color Consultation I will bring my color boards. No small chips here!
